Tour Plan

A staff member from wildguidesafaris $Tours will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel in Arusha, where you’ll rest in anticipation of your adventure beginning the next day. Our driver will also drive you around Arusha on a tour if you have time.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00am and then drive three hours to Tarangire National Park, where you will enjoy a full day of game drives. Later, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. Tarangire National Park is located 115km from Arusha and covers an area of 2800 square kilometers. Wild animals gather to drink water from the Tarangire River, from which the park derives its name. The park's major attractions include a large population of elephants, tree-climbing pythons, and baobab trees. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see lions, leopards, and other wildlife species.

After breakfast, you will embark on an en-route game drive to Serengeti (lunch will be eaten in the vehicle). Along the way, you will enjoy stunning views of the Rift Valley and catch glimpses of the Ngorongoro Crater before reaching Serengeti around 3:00pm. An evening game drive in the central Serengeti awaits, offering the chance to witness the sunset. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp. Major attractions in the Serengeti include its endless plains and the Great Migration, which involves 1.5 million herbivores and their followers. Predators move from one area to another across almost all parts of the Serengeti due to drought. Our driver-guide will ensure you witness part of this migration. You will have the opportunity to see vast numbers of wildebeest accompanied by zebras, Grant’s gazelles, Thomson’s gazelles, eland, and impala.

After an early breakfast, you will embark on your game drive inside the Serengeti. Our driver will take you through key areas and follow the migration. Throughout the year, approximately 1.5 million animals travel in search of fresh grazing pastures and better water sources. The timing of the Great Migration varies each year, but the best chance to witness it is from June to September. Additionally, wildebeest calving occurs from January to March. From July to September, our driver will guide you to northern Serengeti, where you can witness the migration crossing the Mara River. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

You will wake up at 5:45am and eat breakfast so you can witness the sunrise over the park. You’ll then go on a game drive until 11:30am, at which point you’ll return to the camp for a hot lunch. You’ll pack your vehicle and continue with a game drive en route to your next campsite on the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp

After waking up around 5:30am and eating breakfast, you will descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will have the opportunity to see the “Big Five” and various bird species. The crater also hosts black rhinos. During your visit, you'll have lunch on the crater floor amidst the flamingos surrounding the nearby lake. After 6-7 hours of game driving, you will begin your ascent, passing through the campsite to pack your luggage. You will then be transferred back to Arusha for your overnight stay.

A staff member from wildguides safaris will pick up you up from your hotel and drop you off at the airport.
