Tour Plan

After breakfast pick up from hotel starting safari from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular between June and September, the dry period. During this time thousands of animals- wildebeest, buffalo, and Oryx migrate from the dry Maasai steeple to the Tarangire River looking for water. Lion, leopard and other predators follow the herds. Tarangire is home to over 500 varieties of birds. Have lunch and take a late afternoon game viewing and drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge.

After an early breakfast you will check-out and drive westward, descending into the Serengeti Plains. “Serengeti” derives from the Maasai word 'siringet' meaning "an extended area". These endless rolling plains give these grasslands a timeless romantic beauty. The principal features of the Serengeti are its stunningly wildlife populations and the annual spectacle of the migration of millions of wildebeest and other grazers in pursuit of water. You will make a stop at the Olduvai Gorge where Mary Leakey discovered an early hominid fossil nicknamed Zinja that dates back some 1.8 million years. This discovery and later the uncovering of a set of hominid footprints dated 3.6 million years old changed the way scientists thought about human evolution. After a picnic lunch you will continue on to the central Serengeti where you will check-in at the Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp, have dinner and settle in for the night.

After breakfast you will take off for a full day game drive in the Serengeti. This park is home to the greatest concentration of mammals including large prides of lion, solitary leopard, cheetah, and graceful impala. The landscape is characterized by vast stretches of open plains, punctuated by kopjes, rock formations that have survived from the Precambrian period, and open woodlands. Around sunset you will return to camp to enjoy a sumptuous dinner, relax by the campfire under a canopy of stars and later turn in for the night

Early in the morning after breakfast you leave the lodge in Serengeti, then drive to Lake Ndutu with game en route to explorer the Great migration in the southern Serengeti which is Ndutu Area. In the afternoon we stop to the bush for Lunch and after lunch we continue the evening game drive until sunset time then we drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight

After breakfast, depart from Lake Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater Rim. Wake up for early morning game drives in Ndutu then head back to the Lodge for lunch. You will then check out and drive with lunch and game viewing en route to Ngorongoro Crater rim for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then descend into the crater floor for game drives. All the big five (rhino, lion, buffalo, and elephant) live in this wonderful caldera. Others that live here are zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. Your lunch will be served in the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitoktok swamp, a Hippo pool. After lunch, drive back to Arusha.
