Tour Plan

You will be picked up at your hotel in Arusha and transferred to the Tarangire National Park to start off your game viewing experience in this magnificent park which is famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population and variety of bird species, not to mention one of the largest concentration of elephants in the country. After your tour around the park, you will be transferred to your lodge where you will be spending the night

After breakfast, drive towards the Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you will proceed into the heart of wild Africa –You will drive into the central park area known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. You will arrive in time for picnic lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Overnight at Into wild Africa Serengeti tented camp.

After breakfast, game viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, and which is good for possible Lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings. The Visitor Centre close to the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive. In the afternoon, you will follow the Kopjes Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attract a number of lion and some formidably large cobras. Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. This makes the kopjes particularly good for spotting wildlife in the dry seasons – including lions, which like to lie in wait for animals coming to drink. Overnight at Into wild Africa Serengeti tented camp.

After breakfast head to Ngorongoro and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro floor exploring over 2500 species of fauna and flora found in the crater. The black rhinos, hippos and the pride of lions and much more can be seen in the crater. Later enjoy your packed lunch in the crater possibly over view the hippo pool. After lunch continue with the game drives and later head out to Ngorongoro crater toward Mto wa mbu for diner and overnight.

You will depart the lodge at around 0700hrs and head to Lake Manyara National Park for your final game drive. The park is renowned for its elusive tree climbing lions and diverse bird life. After your tour around the beautiful lake and the amazing ground water forest you will be transferred back to Arusha/Airport in the afternoon via curio shops where you can grab some souvenirs to take back home with you.. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included.
