Tour Plan

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, your driver will be waiting to transfer you to the Arusha Tourist Inn Hotel, located at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Settle into your accommodations and prepare to begin your safari in earnest the following morning.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00am, followed by a three-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Once there, you will enjoy a full day of game drives within the park, with a hot lunch provided inside. Later in the day, you will head to your campsite for dinner and your overnight stay. Tarangire National Park is located 115km from Arusha and covers an area of 2,800 square kilometers. Its name originates from the Tarangire River, where wildlife frequently gathers to drink water. The park is renowned for its large elephant population, as well as climbing trees pythons and baobab trees. You’ll also have the opportunity to spot lions, leopards, and other wildlife during your exploration.

After breakfast, you'll begin packing your luggage into the safari Jeep. Then, you'll embark on an en-route game drive to the Serengeti. Lunch will be eaten during the drive along the way. You’ll have the opportunity to admire the stunning vistas of the Rift Valley and catch a glimpse of the Ngorongoro Crater. You'll arrive at Serengeti around 3:00pm and embark on a late game drive in the central area of the park. You’ll witness the sunset and the remarkable movement of vast herds of wildebeest, accompanied by zebras and other wildlife such as Grant’s gazelle, Thomson’s gazelle, eland, and impala. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

You'll wake up at 5:45am for an early breakfast and to witness the sunrise inside the Serengeti. After breakfast, you'll embark on an early morning game drive until around 11:30am. Then, you'll return to the campsite for a hot lunch and to pack your belongings into the Jeep. After lunch, you'll continue with a game drive in the Serengeti while making your way towards the Ngorongoro Crater. You'll arrive at the campsite in time for dinner and your overnight stay.

After a very early (5:30am) breakfast, you will descend to the floor of Ngorongoro Crater, where you will have the opportunity to see the “Big Five” and various bird species. The crater is also home to black rhinos. You will enjoy your lunch inside the crater, surrounded by nature and high concentrations of flamingos. After spending 6 -7 hours on a game drive inside the crater, you will begin your ascent, passing through the campsite to pack all your luggage into the Jeep. You will then transfer back to Arusha.
