Tour Plan
Around 8.30 am you’ll depart from Arusha and drive all the way to Tarangire Park with your packed lunch in lunch boxes, passing through open plains south of Arusha town. During the dry season from May to October annually, Tarangire National Park has the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem and its wetlands in the southeast portion of the park consist of over 300 varieties of bird’s species, Tarangire National Park is also famous for having thousands of huge baobab and acacia trees as it’s a great opportunity to enjoy Africa’s wilderness and solitude. You will have the full-day game drive, dinner, and overnight at Twiga Camp Site or any similar accommodation.
After breakfast you’ll depart from your accommodation to Ngorongoro Crater with your parked lunch in lunch boxes, passing through the forested slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands before arriving at the rim of the crater. You’ll be driven inside the crater area which is one of the most densely crowded game areas as it consists of nearly 40,000 wild animals. Here you’ll have a good chance of seeing the big five: lion, leopard, rare black rhino, buffalo, and elephants along with the big five; we will also see herds of wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle…After a picnic lunch, we’ll continue our game drive then depart the crater and arrive at our accommodations just before dusk for dinner and overnight Simba Camp Site (Crater Rim) or similar accommodation.
On this day you’ll drive through the surrounding nature of the Ngorongoro Highlands en route to the Serengeti…We’ll stop at Olduvai Gorge to visit the site where the fossils of a distant ancestor of man, believed to be about 1.8 million years old, were discovered…We will have an afternoon/evening game drive en-route then arrive at our accommodations in time at Seronera Camp Site for dinner after a game drives through the central Serengeti.
We will opt to have an early morning game drive, with a picnic lunch in lunch boxes in the Serengeti National Park, then later afternoon drive back to Arusha.
